PrivBrowse Privacy Policy

PrivBrowse is a privacy-focused web browser designed to help users browse the web with reduced tracking. This Privacy Policy explains what information PrivBrowse accesses, how it is used, what is stored, and what is shared.

1. Information We Collect

PrivBrowse is designed so that the developer does not intentionally collect or store users' browsing history, visited URLs, search queries, bookmarks, passwords, form data, or browsing content on our servers.

Information processed locally on your device to provide browser functionality may include:

• Web pages and URLs you choose to visit.
• Browser tabs and navigation state required to operate the browser.
• Cookies, website storage, cache, and other browser data required by websites you visit.
• Local privacy and blocking statistics, such as trackers or cookies blocked, where supported.

2. Browsing Data

When you use PrivBrowse to access a website, your browser communicates with that website and its servers. The website may receive information such as your IP address, browser/device information, cookies, and other information according to its own privacy policy.

PrivBrowse's privacy features are intended to reduce unwanted third-party tracking, but cannot guarantee that every website or network service will be unable to identify or track you.

3. Tracker and Cookie Blocking

PrivBrowse may inspect web requests locally to identify and block known tracking resources, advertising trackers, analytics requests, or third-party cookies, depending on the features enabled in the app.

This processing is performed for browser privacy and security functionality. We do not use blocking information to build a personal advertising profile.

4. Private Browsing

Private browsing features are designed to reduce or remove local browser records associated with a private session. Private browsing does not make you anonymous to websites, your internet service provider, employer, school, network administrator, or other parties that may observe network traffic.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or intentionally share your browsing history or browsing content with third parties.

Websites and online services you choose to access may independently collect information about your visit. Such collection is governed by their own privacy policies and is outside our control.

6. Third-Party Services and SDKs

PrivBrowse may use third-party services or software libraries when required for app functionality, crash reporting, security, analytics, advertising, or other disclosed purposes. If third-party services are added, their data practices will be disclosed in this policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated as required.

7. Data Retention

PrivBrowse does not intentionally retain users' browsing history or browsing content on developer-controlled servers.

Browser data stored locally on your device may remain until you clear it using browser controls, remove relevant website data, use a private session that clears its data, or uninstall the application, depending on the type of data.

8. Data Deletion

Because PrivBrowse does not intentionally maintain a server-side account containing your browsing history or browsing content, there is generally no developer-held browsing database to delete.

You can delete locally stored browser information using PrivBrowse's data-clearing controls or by uninstalling the application. If you believe we hold information associated with you that requires deletion, contact admin@techieqa.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by PrivBrowse. Where information must be transmitted to a service used by the app, appropriate security measures such as HTTPS/TLS are used where supported and applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

PrivBrowse is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through PrivBrowse.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PrivBrowse's features, services, or data practices change. The updated policy will be published at the applicable privacy-policy URL and the effective date will be updated.
