At a glance

No account, sign-up, or login is ever required to play.
Your progress (levels, stars, best times) is stored only on your device.
We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or location.
Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses device and advertising identifiers to show and measure ads.
Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your device.

1. Information we collect directly

PatchWork's puzzles are generated entirely on your device — nothing about how you play is sent to us. The only information the app itself stores is your local progress:

which level you've unlocked,
your star rating and best time for each level you've finished.

This is saved using Android's local app storage (SharedPreferences) on your device only. We have no server, no account system, and no way to see it. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.

2. Advertising

PatchWork shows ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded-video ads you choose to watch for an extra hint). To select, serve, and measure these ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

your device's advertising identifier and general device information,
approximate location inferred from your IP address (PatchWork does not request or use precise GPS location),
ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, viewed, or clicked.

This data is handled under Google's own privacy terms, not ours. You can review how Google uses it, and manage ad personalization, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads.

3. Permissions

PatchWork requests one Android permission:

PatchWork does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or location.

4. Data we don't collect

Beyond what's described above, PatchWork does not collect, and has no mechanism to collect, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other personal information. There is no in-app chat, no user-generated content, and no analytics service tracking your behavior beyond AdMob's own ad-measurement data.

5. Children's privacy

PatchWork is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at admin@techieqa.com and we'll address it.

6. Your choices

Clear your local progress — clear the app's storage or uninstall it from Android's app settings.
Reset or limit ad personalization — Android Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads.
Questions or data requests — email admin@techieqa.com.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use PatchWork after a change means you accept the updated policy.
